No — upscaling cannot add detail that isn't there. We allow modest upscaling for size-up needs, but if you want AI-style super-resolution, dedicated ML tools do a better job. Our Lanczos upscale is mathematically correct but won't invent new pixels.
No. A JPG stays a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG. If you want to change format, use ImgConvert first or after.
